Claire meets an old friend of her boyfriend David's. Claire is thrilled to learn about her past but the others are suspicious about the friend and do not believe he can be trusted. He is only providing an edited version of her past. Brodie's alias as Carswell is unveiled and it is revealed that he is a double agent working for the government to tackle the rifter threat. Brodies health is failing and his time is limited.
